Wheatland. Shirley R. Mohr, age 67, of Wheatland, Iowa, died January 22, 2010, in her home. Shirley was born April 8, 1942, in Wheatland to Kenneth Hoffman and and Ruth (Wiebener) Hoffman. Shirley married Daryl Mohr January 14, 1962, at Wheatland.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, January 25, 2010, at St. Paul's United Church Of Christ in Wheatland, Iowa, with Reverend John Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, at Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Genesis Hospice, A.L.S. or St. Paul's Cemetery.

Shirley retired from First Trust & Savings Bank, Wheatland, in 2007 after 28 years. In previous years she was employed by Rowold Insurance Co. and Wheatland Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Paul's Church. She was also a member of Woman's Guild, Wheatland Lions, Betterment Club, and the church board. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, traveling and spending time with her family.

Shirley will be missed by her husband Daryl of 48 years, her three children; Todd (Lisa) Mohr of Davenport, Mindy (Dale) Wriedt of Donahue, Troy (Jenny) Mohr of Wheatland; her mother Ruth Hoffmann of Wheatland; her brother Kent Hoffmann of Toronto, and her six grandchildren Mark Mohr, Wyatt, Sean, Josh Wriedt, Malana Mohr, and Mason Mohr.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father.
