Clinton, Iowa - Michael L. Hereid, Sr age 67 of Clinton, died Tuesday April 20, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.

Michael was born on May 26, 1942 in Gays Mill, WI, the son of Rudolph and Irene (George) Hereid, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He married Rosie June Boyd on Aug. 31, 1967 in Dixon, IL, she died August of 2008. He worked maintenance at Carlon. He was a licensed ham radio operator.

Michael is survived by his two children, Phyllis (Jason) Paysen of Clinton and Jeffrey Hereid of Camanche; three grandchildren, Crystal, Rose, and Michaelia; and three brothers, David, Dennis, and Bud Hereid all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
