5/9/1917 - 3/25/2010Clinton - Mildred T. Ruocco age 92 of Clinton died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. There will be no visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mildred was born in Cranford, New Jersey on May 9, 1917, the daughter of Charles and Emily Bauer Toussaint. She graduated from Montclair High School, Montclair, New Jersey in 1935. Mildred married Louis P. Ruocco on April 28, 1943 in Boston. Louis died on October 5, 2005. Mildred was the payroll clerk for the town of Montclair. She and Louis moved to Clinton in May of 2000. Mildred was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Willard) Grimes of Clinton and a grand daughter, Diana Grimes of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church or the Iowa Department for the Blind. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
