Herald Staff WriterWATERLOO — Merle R. Moothart, 90, of Waterloo, died Friday morning, April 9, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa, following a short illness.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with the Rev. Jose Comparan officiating, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Among the survivors include his wife of 67 years, Dolores; and a daughter, Annette (Jim) Lyons, Clinton.
