CLINTON — Frederick A. Booth, age 67, of Clinton, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at Mercy North Medical Center. There will be a private family gathering on Wednesday at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the gathering, cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be held at the Savanna Township Cemetery in Savanna. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Frederick was born on May 24, 1942, in Savanna, IL, the son of Kenneth and Juanita (Shipley) Booth. He worked at E.I. Dupont and at Clinton A.D.M. as a boiler operator for many years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars, reading newspapers, gardening, working in the yard, feeding the birds and squirrels and his Budweiser.

Frederick is survived by his spouse, Bobbi Remrey of Clinton, with whom he lived with since 1999; a son, Scott (Cheryl) Booth of Camanche; two daughters, Christine (Robert) Penick of Hualapai, AZ, and Kelly Burke of Clinton; two stepdaughters, Audra Remrey (Gary Ballard) of Fulton, IL, and Shelly Remrey (JT Thomas) of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Jordan, Deyvn, Courtney, Kaylie, Josh, Joey, Ian and Haley.
