CLINTON — ROXBORO, N.C. — Bobbie Jean Morris, age 72, of 306 Algood St. Roxboro, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Duke University Medical Center.

Born in Pennsylvania County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Annie Tuggle. Mrs. Morris had been employed with Tultex Yarns for a number of years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist church.

Surviving include her husband of 50 years, Ervin Morris of the home; one daughter Sherry Hope and husband Mark of Newton Grove, N.C.; two grandsons, Marcus and Evan Hope; three sisters, Mattie Thompson and husband Jake, of Danville Va., Billie Blackard and husband Tom of Semora, N.C., Joanna Conner and husband Whitt of Yanceyville, N.C.; one brother Tommy Tuggle and wife Barbara of Danville Va.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ross Thompson and Associate Pastor Don Davis will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Person Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Whitt Conner, Donald Williams Jr., Moses Clay Jr., Michael Clay, Daniel Gilley and Mark Gilley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Brooks and White Funeral Home and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 313 Church St., Roxboro, NC 27573.
