Alyce Smith 07/25/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Alyce M. Smith, Clinton, will be noon Friday at Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. She had handled the Clinton Recreation Program until the Erickson Center was built and later was employed as a laborer at DuPont. Alyce Sander was born Oct. 23, 1915, in Clinton. She married Anson Smith in 1934 in Mount Vernon. He died in 1993. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clinton. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Miller, Clinton; six grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
