CLINTON — George S. Peterson, 62, of Clinton, Iowa, and formerly of Jefferson, Wisconsin died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton, IA. Graveside services will be held at St. Irenaeus Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, October 8, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. George was born on Saturday, July 5, 1947, in Clinton, IA. He attended the St. Coletta School for Exceptional Children in Jefferson, Wisconsin. George was a Green Bay Packer fan. George is survived by his caretakers at the Alverno. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Peg" Subcleff; his stepfather, Larry Subcleff; and his father.
