FULTON, Ill. — Cynthia "Cindy" S. Milnes, 52, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at her residence. Cindy was born on June 24, 1957, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Eugene and Lela (Welch) Johnson Sr. She married Vernon S. Milnes Jr. on August 4, 1973, in Morrison, IL; he survives. She was employed by the Bi-County Special Education Pre-School in Fulton, IL. She was a member of the First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, where she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Fulton Wa-Tan-Ye Club and currently was a daisy leader with the Fulton Girl Scouts Troop 310.Survivors include her husband, Vern, of Fulton, IL; a son, Anthony Todd (Jessica) Milnes of Ashland, OH; and her brother, Eugene Johnson Jr. of Fulton, IL.She is preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009, in the First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009, at the church.
