Jean A. (Wilke) Lahey 1930 - 2009 OTTAWA, Ill. — Jean A. Lahey, 79, of Ottawa, Ill., died Sunday morning, September 13. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, in the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the services.Mrs. Lahey was born on May 9, 1930, in Clinton, Iowa, to Carl and Eileen (Peterson) Wilke. She married James D. Lahey on October 16, 1948, in Clinton, Iowa.She is survived by her children, Dave (Sue) Lahey, of Ottawa, Polly (Rick Volkert) Brue, of Ottawa, and Steve (Wendy) Lahey, of LaSalle, Texas, 7 grandchildren Michelle Lahey (Shane) Reed, Scott, Casey, and Kelly Lahey, Cindy and Doug Brue, and Jeff Volkert, and 6 great-grandchildren, Riley Grace, Jaxson David, Ayden James, Jacob Wayne, Reagyn Michelle, Joshua Paul.She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Don and Merrill Wilke.The online guestbook may be viewed and remembrances shared at www.MuellerFH.com.Death date: Sept. 13, 2009
