CLINTON — Shari E. Tomson, 66, of Clinton died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in her home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation at Lemke Funeral Homes, with Chaplain Todd Smith officiating. Shari was born August 8, 1942 in Clinton, the daughter of Richard and Juanita (Jacobs) Mc Kinney. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1960. She married Terry Hofer in 1960; they later divorced. She then married Orley Tomson April 19, 1982 in Las Vegas. He survives her. Shari worked for Medical Associates as an Insurance Clerk for 30 years. She enjoyed photography, crocheting, and vacationing. She loved animals. Survivors include her husband, Orley of Clinton; a daughter, Wendy (Jeff) Radcliff, of DeWitt; a son, Mark (Bernadette) Hofer, of Concord, California; a stepson, Brad (Marcia) Tomson, of North Liberty, Iowa; 1 grandson Mitch Hofer, of Concord, CA.; 2 step granddaughters Courtney and Paige Tomson of North Liberty, Iowa; 2 brothers, Richard (Elaine) McKinney, of Clinton, and Steve McKinney of Davenport, and several nieces and nephews.
