MORRISON, Ill. — Marie E. Kemmer, 91, of 610 Portland Ave., Morrison died Friday at Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the Morrison Chapel — Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Dick Adams, pastor of First Baptist Church, Morrison, will officiate.Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.Memorials can be given to Four Season Living Center, Morrison. She was born May 18, 1918, in Thomson, Ill., to Ben and Emma (Weber) Stage. She was educated in the Thomson Grade School and was a graduate of Thomson High School, Thomson, Ill. She married Kenneth H. Kemmer on Oct. 25, 1936, in Thomson. Following her marriage she and her husband farmed in the rural Thomson area. Marie was then employed by Climco in Morrison and later by General Electric in Morrison. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a member of the former Morrison Country Club and enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling. She truly enjoyed her retirement years spent in Florida and Wisconsin. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; a daughter, Kay (John) Mucci, of Morrison; two sons, Doug (Nancy) Kemmer, of Morrison, and Steve (Karen) Kemmer of Canadian, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Ben (Angie) Kemmer, Nick (Molly) Kemmer, Luke (Hollie) Kemmer; Jason (Kathy) Mucci, Maria (Mike) Garland, Dominic Mucci, Joseph Mucci; two step grandchildren, Kenny (Belinda) Gruber and Tom (Janna) Gruber; 11 great-grandchildren, Calvin Kemmer, Keifer Kemmer, Edy Kemmer, Demi Kemmer, Halley Kemmer and Sam Kemmer; Alyssa Aldridge, Brooke Ryan, Chace Garland, Olivia Mucci, Allyison Mucci; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie Gruber, Carlie Gruber, Josh Gruber, Brynna Gruber. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie, Paul and Robert Stage.Death date: June 12, 2009
