Josephine Bentley 05/24/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Josephine E. Bentley, Clinton, died Monday, May 22, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center. The body was donated to the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, and will be cremated. Memorial services will be later. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Josephine Schimins was born Nov. 9, 1921, in Fulton, Ill. Survivors include daughters, Barb Walker, Clinton, and Joyce Casey, Milwaukee; sons, Robert, Aurora, Colo., and Mark, Iowa City; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jensen, Clinton; and a special sister and caregiver, Margaret Bertrand, Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1975.
