Carmella Burg 05/02/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Carmella M. Burg, of 308 South Bluff Blvd., formerly of 1227 9th Ave. S., Clinton, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home and Crematory. A prayer service will be conducted there at 7 p.m. Mrs. Burg was a homemaker. Carmella O'Neil was born July 17, 1915, in Erie, Ill. She married Karl Burg in 1937 in Clinton. He died in 1996. Survivors include daughters, Karen Murphy, Camanche, Judy Hinze, Rock Island, and Janice Calcote, Clinton; son, Charles, Clinton; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
