William Cooper 05/01/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for William P. Cooper, Clinton, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Military services will be conducted there. Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Friday at Nelson Heesch Funeral Home, Clinton. Per his wishes, the body was cremated. Mr. Cooper died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was employed in the housekeeping department at the former St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Clinton. He was born Oct.13, 1917, in Chicago. During World War II, he served in the Army. Memorials may be made to the American Legion or Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include a special friend, Peter Knutsen Jr., and his family of Charlotte.
