Dennis Carter 04/17/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Dennis W. Carter, Ankeny, formerly of Clinton, will be noon Thursday at Lemke Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Carter died Sunday, April 14, 2002, in Clinton. He retired as an account executive at AT&T and owned and operated Carter Courier Delivery Service, Des Moines. He was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Albia. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Ankeny. Survivors include his wife, Nettye; daughters, Elizabeth Thalacker, Ankeny, and Debra Gross, Austin, Texas; son, Sean, Austin; stepdaughter, Lanelle Fry, Birmingham, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Iona Carter, Clinton; and brother, Ron, Altoona.
