Doris Drowns 03/02/2002 CALAMUS, Iowa -- Doris N. Drowns, formerly of Salmon, Idaho, and Calamus, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Davenport. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound. There will be no visitation. Doris Davis was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She married Willard Drowns in 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho. He died in 1981. She was a homemaker all of her life. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include a son, Glenn, Calamus; two grandsons; sisters, Rhea Glassburn, Ruby Hathaway and Jewel Foster, all of Redding, Calif., Lucille Hermsen, Baker, Ore., and June Spinola, Trinity Center, Calif., and Julia Ward, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; and brothers, Dan Davis, Sagle, Idaho, Melvin Davis, Blackfoot, Idaho, Stan Davis, Salmon, Idaho, Ned Davis, Sandpoint, Idaho.
