William Behrens 02/20/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- William P. "Bill" Behrens, a resident of Resthave Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morrison, formerly of 712 Buell Ave., Clinton, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at the nursing center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a Rose Croix service at 6 p.m. Mr. Behrens worked a number of years at the former Iten Biscuit Co. and then worked for 36 years at Clinton Foods. He retired in 1969. He was born Feb. 27, 1905, in Hampshire Township, Clinton County. He married Lela Bryant in 1930 in Carlinville, Ill. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Kaaba Shrine, Clinton. Survivors include his wife, Lela; a daughter, Connie Mosher, Morrison; a son, Garrett L., Cherokee Village, Ark.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
