Lorraine Christensen 02/25/2000 GRAND MOUND, Iowa -- Lorraine H. Christensen, Grand Mound, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Wheatland Manor, Wheatland. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christian Free Lutheran Church, Wheatland. Burial will be in Our Savior Cemetery, rural Calamus. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound. Lorraine Holstein was born Aug. 2, 1914, in Calamus. She married Lester Christensen in 1933 in Calamus. He died in 1995. Memorials may be made to the church, the nursing home or the Alzheimer's Association. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Braunschweig, Donahue; a son, Jan Christensen, Calamus; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Meier, Calamus.
