Myrtle Christiansen 02/16/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Myrtle C. Christiansen, of 849 13th Ave. North, formerly of Low Moor, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Christiansen had worked at Clinton Garment Co. and was employed many years in the kitchen area at DeWitt High School. Myrtle Brinkman was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Camanche. She married Lee "Pee Wee" Christiansen in 1946 in Clinton. He died in 1998. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurses Association Hospice or Low Moor United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, JoEllen Bahnsen, Normal, Ill.; a son, Craig, Clinton; two grandchildren; a sister, O'Delia Johnson, Monroe, Wis.; and a brother, Wilbur Brinkman, Garden Plain, Ill.
