Gerald Bailey 01/24/2000 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Gerald L. Bailey, of 1804 23rd Ave. South, Clinton, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. at the chapel. Mr. Bailey died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center-North Clinton Campus. He was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 1992. After retiring, he was employed as a dealer for the Mississippi Belle II. He was born July 1, 1936, in Clinton. He married Deanna Schyvincht in 1958 in Clinton. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tina Williams, Clinton; sons, Russell, Muldroy, Okla., and Christopher, Hackett, Ark.; four grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Taylor, Clinton.
