Alberta Wilke 12/15/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Alberta C. Wilke, of 565 1st Ave., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Mrs. Wilke died Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton. She was employed as an operator at Curtis Co., Clinton, and as a nurse's aide at the former Mercy Hospital, the Alverno and Clinton Retirement. She also was employed as a security guard at Pinkerton and as a production worker at Swift & Co. She retired in 1982. Alberta Bark was born June 6, 1919, in Clinton. She married Wilbur Wells in 1946 in Clinton. He died in 1966. She married Werner Wilke in 1969 in Clinton. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurses Association Hospice or the church. Survivors include her husband; stepsons, Gary and Grant Wilke, both of Clinton; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie O'Neil, Camanche.
