Florence Ryan 12/01/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Florence E. Ryan 81, of Clinton, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, Clinton. Mrs. Ryan died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. She had worked at Swift and Co., Clinton. Florence Miller was born May 22, 1918, in Oelwein. She married Clarence Ryan in 1942 in Columbia, S.C. He died in 1985. Survivors include sons, Denis, John and Michael, all of Clinton, and Garland, Camanche; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
