Matthew Wolfe 09/11/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Matthew K. Wolfe, of 2759 223rd St., died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at his home. Private family services will be 9 a.m. Monday at St. Irenaeus Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Mr. Wolfe practiced law in Clinton from 1955 to 1980 and was employed as a claims manager at Iowa Mutual Insurance, DeWitt. He was born June 1, 1916, in Clinton. He married Marilyn Corson in 1942 in Clinton. She died in 1985. During World War II, he served with the Army in the European Theater. He was a captain in the Advocate General Division. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Survivors include sons, George and Tom, both of Davenport, Matthew, Clinton, and John, Leavenworth, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Kilburg, Deerfield, Ill.
