Alvin Schoolman 07/09/1999 BRYANT, Iowa -- Services for Alvin W. Schoolman, of Bryant, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, Preston. Mr. Schoolman died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. He had farmed north of Goose Lake until 1977. He was a Sieben salesman for several years. He was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Preston. He married Lucille Rickertsen in 1944 in Charlotte. Memorials may be made to the church. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Phyllis Stoecker, Charlotte, and Donna Schoolman, Clinton; a son, Dale, Glendale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Krabbenhoft, DeWitt.
