Alice Van Loo 05/31/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Alice M. Van Loo, of Clinton, died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in Clinton. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Mrs. Van Loo worked as a cashier at Eagle Foods in Lyons, Iowa, for 25 years. Alice Groff was born March 31, 1911, in Kinross, Iowa. She married Clifford Kiefer in 1934. She married Anthony Van Loo in 1957 in DeWitt, Iowa. He died in 1985. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include daughters, Linda Casey and Patricia Matheson, both of Clinton; a son, Gary Kiefer, DeWitt; a step-son, Vincent Van Loo, Kansas; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Geneva DeFrance, Iowa City.
