Louise Soenksen 05/09/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Louise C. Soenksen, of DeWitt, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt. Mrs. Soenksen died Friday, May 7, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. She was a homemaker. Louise Ketelsen was born Aug. 4, 1918, in Charlotte. She married Herbert Soenksen in 1941 in Kirksville, Mo. He died in 1991. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Camp. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Vickers, Wichita, Kan.; sons, Philip J., Lincoln, Neb., and Bradley J., Fergus Falls, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
