CAMANCHE — Nancy L. Hellweg, 56, of Camanche, died Friday, November 28, 2008, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 2, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Private Family services will follow the visitation. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Serving as pallbearers will be her brothers Phillip Hayes, Robert Hayes, Bill Hayes, and Michael Hayes; her sons: Bill Hayes, and Donald Williamson. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be her daughter: Andrea Williamson. Nancy Louise Hayes was born on November 3, 1952, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Julia (Ballou) Hayes. She married Don Williamson in 1977 and later married Charles Hellweg on July 12, 2001, in Hawaii. Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Camanche High School. Nancy was employed Jim Walter Windows in Camanche, the Camanche School District as a teacher’s assistant, at Medical Associates in medical records and recently at Midwest Vision as an Optometric Technician. Nancy enjoyed attending craft fairs, antiquing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan. Nancy is survived by her husband, Chuck of Camanche; two sons, Bill (Amanda) Hayes of Bettendorf and Donald Williamson of Clinton; her daughter, Andrea Williamson of Camanche; four grandchildren, Kylie Hayes, Abrianna Hayes, Allie Williamson and Nolan Williamson; her mother, Julia Hayes of Camanche; four brothers, Phillip (Mary) Hayes of Clinton, Robert (Debbie) Hayes of Navarre, Ohio, Bill (Ann) Hayes of Sebring, Ohio, Michael (Sandra) Hayes of Clinton; and one sister, Barbara (Jon) Fry of East Sparta, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, a nephew, Ken Fales Jr. and one niece, Denise Fales. Memorials can be made to the family.
