Phillip Seifert 10/08/1998 DeWITT, Iowa -- Phillip J. Seifert, of DeWitt, formerly of Davenport, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, after a massive stroke. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a wake service at 7 p.m. He was born April 15, 1954, in DeWitt. He married Dawna Seamonds in 1975 in DeWitt. He and his wife operated the Zip Mart, DeWitt, for several years. He also had worked at Dahl Motors, DeWitt; Eagle Country Market, Davenport; and The President Riverboat Casino. Survivors include daughters, Lindsey, DeWitt, and Brittney and Quinn, both of Davenport; two grandchildren; his parents, Charles and Mary Seifert, DeWitt; a sister, Candy Valkenberg, Tulsa, Okla.; and brothers, Charlie, Arlington, Texas, Mike, Clinton, Steve, Jack and Todd, all of DeWitt, and Jerry, Bettendorf.
