CLINTON — Margaret A. Snodgrass, 66, of Clinton, Ia., died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Genesis East Medical Center. Per her request, the Runge Mortuary is assisting her family with the cremation.Margaret was born October 7, 1942, in Clinton, Ia., the daughter of James and Ruth (Ashpole) McDonnell. She loved being married to William “Pops” Snodgrass for 48 years. Margaret worked for Carlon Company in Clinton for over twenty-two years as a machine operator prior to her retirement.She enjoyed her grandchildren and seeing them enjoy what is fun for them.Margaret’s survivors are her husband, William “Pops”; Son, Sergeant First Class William Jr. and wife Cheri Snodgrass; Daughter, Bernice Buikema; Son, David Snodgrass; Daughter, Vicki and husband Vernon Spiker; Son, James and wife Kelly Snodgrass; and Son, Kenneth and wife Nona Snodgrass; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; Brothers David and James McDonnell, both of Florida.Her parents and a brother Jim preceded her in death.There will be a luncheon on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Bemis Pavilion (formerly DuPont) 2505 Camanche Industrial Park Drive, Camanche, Ia., from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Death date: October 16, 2008
