DEWITT — Naomi S. Schmidt, 86, of DeWitt, died Sunday at Mercy North Hospital.A memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Brownfield celebrating. Burial will follow at the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to the Mass time Wednesday at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.Death date: Sept. 28, 2008
