MAQUOKETA — Lillian L. Schmitz, 81, of Maquoketa, died Friday at Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Paul Lippstock and Deacon Bob Head officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Death date: Sept. 12, 2008
