Mrs. Frank G. Jones, 72, 330 - Fourteenth Ave. South, died this morning (March 17, 1944) at 3:30 o'clock in Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient for four days. The body was taken to Snell Funeral Home to repose beginning Saturday. Funeral service will be held Monday (March 20, 1944) morning in St. Mary's Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Abbie Ellen Lahey (Leahy) was born March 15, 1872 in Ireland. She came to this country at an early age and was married in Fulton, IL, Nov. 22, 1892, to Frank G. Jones and the couple made their home in Clinton.

Her husband preceded her in death May 10, 1943 and a daughter Ella, and a son, Amos, also preceded her.

Survivors are four sons, Fred, Harry D. Edward and Earl; two daughters, Mrs Lydia Kettelson and Mrs. Carrie Jaegar, Clinton; 29 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.

Two grandson are serving in the U. S. Navy and four in the U. S. Army

Funeral: Mrs. Frank G. Jones

A requiem high mass was offered this morning (March 20, 1944) at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's Church for Mrs. Frank G. Jones. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. T. F. Galligan, V. F., officiated.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery and pallbearers were Archie Jared, Jacob Bost, Frank Krava, William Hyde, Frank Bark and Harry Krebs.

Here for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Chancy Jones and family of Davenport; Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Flynn and Mrs. Harry Flynn, Fulton, IL and Mrs. Irma Masterson, Aurora, IL.
