MORRISON, Ill. — Mary J. Jost, 79, of Libertyville, IL, formerly of Morrison, died Thursday, September 04, 2008, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2008 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison, with the Rev. Father William Antillon, Pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with a 6:30 p.m. vigil service. Mary was born on January 30, 1929, in Clinton County, IA, the daughter of Roman and Clara (Manikowski) Wisor. She was a graduate of Elvira High School in Elvira, IA, and attended Mt. St. Clare College in Clinton.Mary married Jene J. Jost on November 8, 1958, in Davenport, IA; Jene died July 21, 2003. Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison. She is survived by a son, Michael (Lisa) Jost of Libertyville, IL; two grandsons: Justin Michael and Tyler Joseph Jost; four sisters: Mrs. Clara Nugent of San Marcos, CA, Mrs. Teresa Cotter of Scottsdale, AZ, Alberta (Steve) Sharnik of Moline, IL, and Sister Marjorie Wisor OSF of St. Louis, MO; two brothers: Joseph (Bernadette) Wisor of Camanche, IA, and Robert (LaVon) Wisor of Iowa City, IA; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Mary Kane Wisor of Clinton, IA, Mrs. Leota Jost of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Mrs. Betty Jost of Silvis, IL; and many nieces and nephews and loving friends.Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jene; a son, Brian; a brother, Francis Wisor; and a brother and sister-in-law.
