MAQUOKETA — Darrel Dean Weets, 71, of Maquoketa, died Thursday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Public graveside services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa. The Rev. Ruth Ann Scott will be officiating. There will be no public visitation. The rite of cremation has taken place. Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements. Death date: Aug. 28, 2008
