MORRISON, Ill. — Yvonne F. Gray, 71, of Morrison, died Sunday, August 3, 2008, at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford, IL.Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison, IL. The Rev. Jeffery N. McIlrath, pastor of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2008, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Reformed Church and the Morrison Food Pantry. She was born August 26, 1936, in Morrison, IL, to Paul and Katherine Irene (Glazier) Bush. She graduated from Morrison High School in 1954. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Education. After high school Yvonne was employed as an airline stewardess. In the Tampa, Fl, area she was employed with Soloman, Smith, Barney, E.F. Hutton, and the University of Tampa as an administrative secretary. In Morrison, IL, she was employed with Superwash, Northwestern Title as a secretary and most recently as a substitute teacher at Northside Elementary School until her retirement. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison, IL. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Morrison, IL. She volunteered at the WHOA Therapeutic Riding Stable, in Morrison, IL. Survivors include her fiancee, Ron Garwick, Morrison, IL; two sons, Steven (Susan Devers) Schroeder of Morrison, IL, and Thomas (Margaret) Schroeder of Brandon, FL; two grandchildren, Tara Schroeder and Stephanie Schroeder; her mother, Irene Bush of Morrison, IL; and one brother, Lawrence Bush, St. Clairsville, OH.
