DEWITT — Barbara A. Hulsebusch, 78, DeWitt, Iowa, died Friday morning, July 25, 2008, in her home. She was born May 25, 1930, in Clinton, Iowa, to Harold and Margaret (Reichert) Muhs. She was 1948 graduate of DeWitt High School. Barb worked at Iowa Mutual Insurance, DeWitt, early in her life. She married William Hulsebusch, March 26, 1955, in DeWitt. Barb and Bill resided in DeWitt much of their life where they raised there family and Barb was a homemaker. Barb lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and vacationing. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Bill; children and their spouses, Alan and Kathy Hulsebusch, Forest Lake, Minnesota; Gayle and Garry Trimble and Tina and Jamie Lively, DeWitt; grandchildren, Nicole, Jaimes and Robert Hulsebusch, Tyler and Aubrey Trimble and Zachary Lively; sisters, Marilyn Blythe and Connie Muhs, DeWitt, and Karen Anderson, Haleyville, Alabama. Preceding Barb in death were an infant son, Terry, an infant daughter, Susan, her parents, brothers, Dick and Bob, brothers-in-law, David Blythe and Terry Anderson. Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 2:00 until 6 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Wartgow will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association of Iowa or Genesis Hospice. Pallbearers will be Tyler Trimble, James Hulsebusch, Robert Hulsebusch, Zachary Lively, Garry Trimble and Jaimes Lively. Honorary pallbearers will be George Roeder, Fred Behr, Russell Rittmer and George Brown. The family would to to express a special thank you to Genesis Hospice for all of their help and support, and to Guardian Family Care for being such wonderful caregivers.
