PORTLAND, Ore. — Daniel K. Young of Portland, Ore. died on Sat. July 19, doing what he loved most, playing basketball.Daniel was born March 3, 1977 in Kealakekua, Hawaii to Terence and Bobbie Young. He married his soul mate Andrea Hofer on June 23, 2004, in Maui, Hawaii. He received a degree in psychology at Willamette University. He was a commercial real estate appraiser in Portland.A funeral will be held Thursday July 24th at 1 pm at Life Church Salem, Ore. Dan is survived by his wife, Andrea, of Portland, his parents of Salem, 4 brothers and his father and mother in law Ken and Phyllis Hofer of DeWitt.Death date: July 19, 2008
