TRIPOLI, Iowa — Memorial services were held July 7 for Marie Kehe, 87, Tripoli, IA. Marie died July 3 at the Tripoli Nursing Home from natural causes. Marie was born May 17, 1921, to Joseph and Caroline Snelling. She graduated from Tripoli High School in 1939.Marie was united in marriage with Eldo Kehe on May 17, 1942. Marie worked several years on the obstetrics floor in Waterloo. After retiring, she babysat many years in her home.Survivors include Caroline (David) Werner Carmel, Calif.; Ben (Cathe) Kehe, Broken Arrow, Okla.; Sam (Patricia) Kehe, Camanche; and Kim (Lois) Kehe, Tripoli; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldo; and one son, Bill, and his wife.Death date: July 3, 2008
