1945 - 2002

Richard W. "Dick" Flenker, 56, Las Vegas, formerly of Maquoketa, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at his home.
Memorial services and burial will be later. No visitation will be held. Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Flenker was disabled.
He was born Dec. 12, 1945, in Clinton. He married Trudy Williams in 1969 in Maquoketa.
During the Vietnam War, he served in the Navy.
Survivors include daughters, Melissa Perez, Byhalia, Miss., and Terra Barry, Madison, Miss.; sons, Richard "Rick," Ridgeland, Miss., and Randy W., Madison, Miss.; five grandchildren; and sisters, Darlene Cook, Maquoketa, and Doris Hazer, Zwingle.
