1926 - 2003

Leo G. Kness, 76, Clinton, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-South, Clinton.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home & Crematory.
There will be no Visitation.
His body has been donated to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program.
He was an over the road truck driver and also owned and operated Mick’s Service GMC, Clinton, for many years.
He was born June 21, 1926, in Carroll County, Ill.
He was a Navy veteran serving in World War II from 1944-46.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Survivors include a daughter, Terry Lee Householder, Eustis, Fla.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Duncan, Clinton, Doris Vorst, Clinton; and brothers, Gene Kness, Fulton, Mo., and Glen Kness, Chadwick, Ill.
