CLINTON — Carl B. Henricksen, 91, Clinton, died Friday, at Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton.He was born November 15, 1916, in Almont, Iowa, to Leonard and Paulina (Gregersen) Henricksen. He farmed all of his life and dug graves for over 20 years at 12 cemeteries. Carl married Lucille Schwartz, September 17, 1939, at rural Sabula, Iowa. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Andover. He loved carpentry work and helped build Faith Lutheran as well as Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula. Carl also enjoyed fishing and hunting.Surviving are his loving wife of 68 years, Lucille; a son, Donald, Clinton; sisters, Anna Fanger and Harriett Petersen, Clinton; a sister-in-law, Jean Henricksen, Clinton; a brother-in-law, Roland Drury, Green Island; many nieces, nephews and cousins.Carl was preceded in death his parents; a sister, Dolores Drury; and a brother, Leonard, Henricksen, Jr.Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, from 2 until 7 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Shannon Witt officiating. Burial will be at Miles Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Home-North Chapel, Clinton, in charge of arrangements.Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or Camp Courageous.Death date: July 4, 2008
