COCOA, Fla. — Ferris, Ronald P., 72, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Mary Alice; and sons Josh, Brett, and Sean; and numerous other family members. Ron grew up in Clinton, Iowa, where he still has many friends. He served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He worked for Virginia Power until he retired to Cocoa, Florida, in 1992. He was active in the Lions Club, The Prospect Volunteer Fire Department and Cocoa Little League. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Hope United Church of Christ in Rockledge, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Brevard Hospice or Hope UCC. Arrangements by Funeral Solutions. Death date: July 4, 2008
