FULTON, Ill. — George W. Moldermaker, 91, of Fulton, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton, IA. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 03, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Merchant, pastor of the Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 02, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.Memorials may be made to Trinity Reformed Church of Fulton, IL, and the American Diabetes Association. He was born May 09, 1917, in Fulton, IL, to Corneil and Winnie (Ottens) Moldermaker. He attended Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1935. He attended Scovill Business College in Clinton, IA. He married Ellamae Voss on Sept. 18, 1940, in Fulton, IL. George worked briefly in Chicago. George returned to Fulton in 1938 to purchase a greenhouse, which he ran for 37 years. He ended his working career in Morrison, IL, working at Climco Coils Co. for 5 years. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, IL. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Linda K. Miley of Fulton, MO; one son, Larry (Sandy) Moldermaker of Johnston, IA; two grandchildren, Sarah (Mrs. Roy) Rohrbach and Angela (Mrs. Joe) Vogel; two stepgrandchildren, Mike (Julee) Bruce and Laurie Zimmerman; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellamae Moldermaker, June 25, 2008; one brother, Wilfred Moldermaker; and one sister, Lorriane Farr.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.
