DEWITT — Audrey Dau, 70, of DeWitt, Iowa, died on Sunday, June 22, 2008, at her home. A private family graveside service will be held at McCausland Cemetery at a later date. Audrey was born on August 20, 1937, in Lebanon, Missouri, the daughter of Claude and Sarah (King) Lynch. She married Russell Dau on March 21st, 1958, in LeClaire, Iowa. They resided in the LeClaire and DeWitt area for many years where they raised their 5 children. Audrey was employed for the DeWitt Community Hospital in the housekeeping department for several years.Those left to honor her memory are her children, Ellen Dau, DeWitt, Iowa, Mary (Kevin) Boyer, Albertsville, Alabama, Daryl (Dee) Dau, DeWitt, Iowa, Wayne (Diane) Dau, DeWitt, Iowa. Survivors also include her 10 grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Claude and Sarah; her husband, Russell; a daughter, Kathy Dau; 2 sisters; Loretta and Pauline Wilson; and a brother, Paul Lynch.Death date: June 22, 2008
