Lavonne Anne Clark 07/14/1998 EAST MOLINE -- Services for Lavonne Anne "Nink" Clark, of East Moline, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, Iowa. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a wake service at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Lavonne died Sunday, July 12, 1998, after a traffic accident in Milan, Ill. She was working in the shipping and receiving department at WalMart, Davenport, and at A Plus Health Care, Rock Island. She also had worked at the Handicapped Development Center, Davenport; and at Casey's in DeWitt and Reynolds, Ill.; and was employed as a sign language interpreter at Muscatine schools. She was born March 18, 1969, in Maquoketa, to David and Joyce (Weller) Clark. Lavonne was a member of the YMCA, Moline. She enjoyed NASCAR auto racing and spending time with her son, Nathan. A memorial fund has been established for Nathan's education. Survivors include a son, Nathan, at home; her parents, David and Joyce Clark, Milan; a brother, Joseph Clark, DeWitt; and her step-grandfather, Ernest Kitchen, Galesburg, Ill. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Clark, who died in 1986, and her grandparents, Ernest and Grace Weller and Helen Kitchen. She will be greatly missed by her son, Nathan.
