KOSTKA, Patricia M.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday at Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory, for Patricia M. KOSTKA, 64 of 117 16th Place. She died Sunday at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. The Rev. John STACK will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Les HUMPHREY, and nephews, Peter KRAJNOVICH, Kenny and Michael KING, Carl SPARLIN and George KRAMER III. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Fred, Herman and Shawn EICKERT, Richie ALBERTS, Richard SCHMIDT and Bud BLAHNIK.
She was born Apr 30, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, to Romauld and Dorothy WATSON BLAHNIK. She was a graduate of Cedar Rapids High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagle’s Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane ROTTERO of Nashville, Tenn., and Linda (Jerome) PLESKAC of Omaha, Neb.; two sons, Michael KOSTKA of Schenectady, N.Y., and Charles KOSTKA of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Barbara (Jerry) REDFENSTHAL of Cedar Rapids, and a special friend, Marcella SPARLIN, with whom she made her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, and a brother.
