CLINTON — James H. “Jim” Pawski, age 41, of Clinton, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28th, at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Jim was born in Clinton on April 8, 1967, the son of Richard “Dick” and Cheryl Busch Pawski. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1985. Following graduation, Jim joined the U.S. Navy where he served for 8 years. Jim married Kari Anderson on April 23, 2004, in Clinton. Jim was a member of the Clinton Bowling Association. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Jim is survived by his wife, Kari; his children; Seth Pawski and Jeremy Pawski, both of Rochester, IN, and Kameron Pawski and Travis Pawski, both at home; his mother, Cheryl Koenes of Camanche; two sisters, Angie (her husband, Neil) Tietjens of Clinton and Jenny Butler of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Scott (his wife, Jessie) Pawski of Clinton; his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Zachary, Sarah, Taylor, Austin and Sidney; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.Death date: May 24, 2008
