CLINTON — Barbara Lynn Chase, 45, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, May 24th, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, ER, in Clinton. Barb was born August 17th, 1962, in Clinton, daughter of Birgil Chase and the late Betty Lampe. She was a homemaker. Barb was a wonderful mother and grandma. Her daughter Becky was the love of her life. Besides her father Birgil Chase of Delmar, survivors include Mike Guilliams of Clinton, with whom she made her home; one daughter, Becky (Ronnie Harris) Chase, Ft. Madison; two granddaughters, Nyssa Lynn and Madisyn Lynn Harris; one brother, Barry (Lory) Rickertsen, Clinton; three sisters, Billie (Johnny) Ricks, Texas, Betty Williams, Florida and Birgie (Ed) Wolf, Florida; stepchildren, Melissa, Addi and Jessica Guilliams, Melany, Gabe and Sam Dann; and other relatives and friends. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Sam” Rickertsen and Rodney Rickertsen; one sister, Marlene Lampe, an infant sister, Bonnie Chase; stepson, Randy Guilliams. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28th, 2008, at The Lemke Funeral Home, North Chapel. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services all at The Lemke Funeral Home, 2304 N. Second Street, Clinton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
