ERIE, Ill. — Beth Adams, 63, of Erie, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis, Ill. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Len Meinema, Pastor of Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Fulton, Ill., officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 01, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton. Beth was born June 29, 1944, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of Warren E. Sr. and Catherine E. (Buckman) Bealer. She attended rural Whiteside County schools. She married Douglas W. Adams on August 21, 1960, in Clinton; he died March 14, 1996. Beth was homemaker, and loved doing crafts, crocheting, and she was an avid bowler. She was also active in Girl Scouts of America for more than 25 years. Survivors include three daughters: Julie (Mrs. Russell) Dykstra, of Fulton, Christine (Mrs. Dan) Hager of Albany, Ill., and Evelyn Bartee, of Dows, Ia.; one son, Steven (Erin) Adams, of Fulton; eleven grandchildren: Jeffery (Katie) Dykstra, Mrs. Deanna Lankford, Kendall (Emily) Dykstra; Andrea Covell, Christopher Bartee, Erin Bartee, William Bartee; Anthony Hager, Tiffany Hager; Madeline Adams and Isabella Adams; six great-grandchildren; her stepmother, Mrs. Harriett Bealer, of Rock Island, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Verkruysse, of Erie, Ill., and a special friend, Howard Letcher, of Erie, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Douglas, one sister, Charlotte Lovejoy, and two brothers, Gene and Rollin Bealer.Memorials have been established.
